If your DPF is clogged, you already know the signs. Loss of power. Frequent regens. A check-engine light that won’t quit. Maybe a derate that’s about to leave you stranded on I-4.
We’re a semi truck repair shop on Sidney Hayes Rd, ten minutes from the Florida Turnpike, and DPF cleaning is one of the things we do every single week. Bring it in, we’ll get it baked, blown out, flow-tested, and back in the truck — usually same day, sometimes next morning if you’re early enough.
Call (407) 591-6747 for an estimate, or pull up to the shop at 9640 Sidney Hayes Rd.
A partially clogged filter doesn’t fix itself. The longer you push it, the more soot builds up, and the harder your engine works to push exhaust through it. That extra back pressure is what kills turbos, blows out EGR coolers, and starts pulling money out of your pocket in chunks of $10,000 or more.
A real cleaning runs a fraction of that. And done right, it gives you another 200,000 to 300,000 miles before the filter needs service again — depending on how the truck runs and what kind of duty cycle you’re on.
Here’s what actually happens when you drop the truck off:
We work on Cummins, Detroit, Volvo, Mack, PACCAR (MX-13, MX-11), and Cat. Most factory filter brands too — Donaldson, Fleetguard, OEM Volvo, etc.
If you drop off in the morning, most semi truck DPF cleaning jobs are done by end of day. If the filter needs a second cycle (heavily loaded with ash or oil-contaminated soot), it might be next morning. Roadside emergencies and walk-ins get handled as fast as we can — call before you show up so we can plan the bay.
DPF cleaning service pricing depends on the filter and what shape it’s in when it comes off the truck. A standard clean is usually a few hundred dollars. A filter that needs deeper work, or that turns out to need replacement after inspection, costs more. We give you a number before we start. No surprise invoices.
Not sure if it’s the filter? A few symptoms that point to a clogged DPF:
If you’re seeing any of these, don’t wait for the derate. Get it looked at.
A few things we hear from regulars:
We do semi truck DPF cleaning for trucks running through Orlando, Kissimmee, Sanford, Lakeland, Tampa, and the rest of Central Florida. If you’re searching “semi truck DPF cleaning near me” from anywhere in the I-4 corridor, we’re probably the closest dedicated heavy-duty shop. Owner-operators and small fleets are most of who we see, but we work with larger fleets too — ask about volume pricing.

Most fleets clean every 200,000 to 300,000 miles, or once a year — whichever comes first. Trucks running heavy loads, lots of idle time, or short-haul stop-and-go cycles need it more often.
Usually yes, as long as the filter substrate isn’t cracked or melted. We see derated trucks all the time. The issue is whether the filter survived what caused the derate, not the derate itself.
Yes. If a filter is cracked, melted, or so far gone that flow won’t come back to spec, we’ll source a replacement (OEM or aftermarket — your call) and get it installed.
No. A forced regen burns off soot using the truck’s own systems — it doesn’t remove ash. Ash builds up over time and a regen can’t touch it. That’s what cleaning is for.
Yes. We clean DPFs on Class A diesel pushers, medium-duty box trucks, and pretty much anything with a DPF. Same process, different brackets.
There’s a waiting area, but most semi truck DPF cleaning takes 4–8 hours including reinstall. Most drivers grab a hotel or run errands. We’ll text you when it’s ready.
Call (407) 591-6747 or stop by the shop at 9640 Sidney Hayes Rd in Orlando. If you’re already derated on the side of the road, call the same number — we’ll get a roadside truck out to you.
GOOD Based on 6 reviews Posted on Google Thomas MedinaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Back on November 2025 my turbo went bad on my KW, I took it to Top RIDES LLC in Orlando and Peter the shop manager greeted when I arrived, he immediately put a mechanic that has knowledge with Paccar engine and by the next day I was on the road, two weeks ago my turbo kicked the bucket and I immediately called Peter,I told him what happened and he told me to bring in my truck on a Monday morning, he immediately started to find another but no one in Orlando had one in stock so he continued to search until he found one in SC and had them overnight it. PETER kept informed of the whole process with my truck. The very next my truck was completely fixed with a brand new turbo. I want to thank Peter and all his mechanics for treating me with loyalty. I will definitely recommend Too Rider's of Orlando to any owner operator, they truly understand that time is money and they will do everything possible to getting you back on the road.Posted on Google Bobby JenkinsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
