We started fixing RVs the same way we fix trucks: in the bay at 9640 Sidney Hayes Rd, with the same diagnostic computers and the same diesel guys. A Class A pusher and a semi share more than people think. The same Cummins and Detroit engine families. The same air brakes. The same DPF. The same alignment trouble once a front end has been pounding I-4 for 80,000 miles. So when somebody rolls a motorhome into our Orlando shop, we are not learning on your rig. We have done it before.

If you searched “rv repair shop near me” or “rv repair Orlando FL” and you are anywhere in Orange County, we are probably the closest shop that actually runs the OEM software for your chassis. Call (407) 591-6747.

What we fix on an RV (and what we don’t)

We handle the chassis and the drivetrain: the part that has to get you home. Engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, alignment, DPF. We do not do interior cabinetry, slide-out motors, or residential fridges. If the problem is the living quarters and not the chassis, we will tell you straight so you are not paying us to chase the wrong thing.

RV Engine Repair

We see the same diesel families in coaches that we see in trucks every day: Cummins ISX and X15, the older ISB and ISL under a lot of Class A pushers, Detroit DD13 and DD15, and the Ford and Chevy gas V8s and V10s in Class C motorhomes. EGR faults, turbo trouble, injectors, head gaskets, coolant leaks, and the derate that drops you into limp mode halfway down the Turnpike. Diagnostic starts at $150, and we quote the repair in writing before any wrench turns. Our full diesel engine repair writeup covers what we do on the truck side, and the work is the same on a coach.

RV Transmission Repair

Most diesel pushers run an Allison 3000 or 4000 series automatic. Class C rigs usually have a Ford TorqShift, and the bigger coaches run Eaton or Volvo boxes. Hard shifts, slipping, a transmission that drops into failsafe on a grade outside Orlando. We pull the codes with the factory software instead of a generic scanner, so we are reading the actual fault and not guessing at it. Same approach as our transmission repair service for trucks.

RV Brakes Repair

Diesel pushers run air brakes. Lighter Class C rigs run hydraulics. We do both: slack adjusters, chambers, pads, rotors, drums, and the ABS light that will not go off. A 30,000-pound coach has to stop right, and the federal standards for brake inspection and maintenance are written for exactly this kind of weight. We follow the FMCSA inspection and maintenance standards on every brake job. See our brake service page for the full breakdown.

RV Suspension Repair

If your coach wallows, leans through a highway curve, or porpoises over every bridge joint on the Beachline, something underneath is worn. Air bags, leaf springs, shocks, bushings, and the steering parts that give out on a heavy front end. Most coaches ride on a Freightliner or Spartan chassis with Hendrickson air ride, and we know those setups. Our suspension repair page has more.

RV Alignment

A motorhome eats front tires when the alignment is off, and a set of coach tires is not cheap. We align RVs on the same Hunter heavy-duty four-post laser rack we use on semis. We set caster, camber, and toe to spec and check thrust angle. If your coach has been pulling or wandering on the highway, this is usually where it starts. Details on our alignment services page.

RV DPF Cleaning

A clogged DPF on a diesel coach means derates, failed regens, and that miserable limp-mode crawl. We clean it with a real thermal bake and pneumatic ash removal, not a quick blast with an air gun. We handle Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, and the units on most diesel pushers, and most are back same day. See our DPF cleaning page.

Why bring your RV here

Most RV work in Orlando goes one of two ways. General auto shops take the job but do not have the heavy diesel software for your chassis. Coach dealers have the software but are booked six weeks out and only touch their own brand. We sit in the middle: ASE-certified diesel mechanics with the OEM software for the chassis under your coach, flat-rate pricing quoted in writing, and most repairs done same day or next day. We have been working on diesel in Florida heat for over twenty years, and we speak English and Russian.

If a breakdown leaves you stranded, we also run 24/7 roadside assistance across Central Florida, and we can tow the coach in if it needs the lift.

RV repair across the Orlando metro

We are on Sidney Hayes Rd, a few minutes off the Beachline and the Turnpike, which puts us near most of the routes RVers actually drive through Central Florida. We see coaches from Orlando, Kissimmee, Sanford, Apopka, Winter Garden, St. Cloud, and Lake Buena Vista, plus the snowbirds rolling down 75 and the Turnpike for the season.

Got an RV that needs the chassis or drivetrain looked at? Call (407) 591-6747 or get in touch. We will tell you what is wrong, what it runs, and when you can have it back.

RV repair in Orlando: common questions

Do you work on RVs or just trucks?

Both. We work on Class A diesel pushers, Class C motorhomes, and fifth-wheels, with the same mechanical depth we give trucks. We stick to the chassis and drivetrain, not the living quarters.

My RV went into limp mode and the check engine light is on. Can you help?

Yes, that is one of the most common calls we get. It is usually an EGR, DPF, or sensor fault putting the engine into a derate. We pull the real code with factory software and fix the cause, not the symptom.

Can you align my motorhome?

Yes. Our Hunter heavy-duty rack handles coaches and the chassis they sit on. If your RV is chewing front tires or wandering on the highway, get the alignment checked before you buy another set of tires.

How much does RV repair cost in Orlando?

Diagnostic starts at $150. DPF cleaning runs $400 to $650 depending on the unit. Engine and transmission work gets quoted after we look at it. You get the number in writing before we start.

Do you offer mobile RV repair or roadside near me?

We run 24/7 roadside across Central Florida for breakdowns on I-4, the Turnpike, and the Beachline. For a bigger repair we get the coach to the shop where we have the lift and the tools.

Back on November 2025 my turbo went bad on my KW, I took it to Top RIDES LLC in Orlando and Peter the shop manager greeted when I arrived, he immediately put a mechanic that has knowledge with Paccar engine and by the next day I was on the road, two weeks ago my turbo kicked the bucket and I immediately called Peter,I told him what happened and he told me to bring in my truck on a Monday morning, he immediately started to find another but no one in Orlando had one in stock so he continued to search until he found one in SC and had them overnight it. PETER kept informed of the whole process with my truck. The very next my truck was completely fixed with a brand new turbo. I want to thank Peter and all his mechanics for treating me with loyalty. I will definitely recommend Too Rider's of Orlando to any owner operator, they truly understand that time is money and they will do everything possible to getting you back on the road.
